Tannehill is expected to serve as back-up to Marcus Mariota.

The Dolphins have traded Ryan Tannehill to the Tennessee Titans, ending a seven-year marriage that leaves the team with added draft ammunition but no clear starting quarterback.

The Dolphins faced an uphill battle to flip Ryan for assets, given his bloated cap figure, so getting anything in return for him is a win for Miami.

Brexit talks deadlocked day before Commons vote on May's deal
David Cameron has warned MPs that failing to rule out a no-deal Brexit would be a "disaster" for Britain. Labour is set to help block a no deal Brexit tonight in another crunch vote in the House of Commons.

The Titans restructured Tannehill's contract into a deal that will pay him $7 million fully guaranteed with a chance to make up to $12 million in incentives for the 2019 season, a source told ESPN.

The Dolphins will receive a fourth round pick in 2020 and a seventh rounder in 2019 while the Titans will also acquire a 2019 sixth rounder along with Tannehill.

Between the Tannehill trade and potential compensatory picks based on this year's free agency activity, the Dolphins could end up having double-digit picks in the 2020 draft. Dan Marino's career passer rating was 86.4, but he played under different rules and there's no one who would argue about him being the greatest quarterback in franchise history. Mariota has games in all four of his National Football League seasons for a variety of injuries, including knee, hamstring, arm and shoulder.

New Avengers: Endgame trailer will give you chills
There's not a ton of new footage in the recently posted Avengers: Endgame trailer , but what's present is there for a reason. Brie Larson's Captain Marvel makes her first Avengers appearance just a week after her own film was released.

The Dolphins are obviously moving in a new direction but where the Dolphins turn to find their next quarterback is anyone's guess at this point. Tannehill earned a flawless 158.3 passer rating and was rewarded by being named AFC Offensive Player of the Week.

His time with the Dolphins was marred by mediocrity and injuries.
