Funeral And Memorial Services Announced for George H.W. Bush

Tiger Woods on Saturday recalled George H.W. Bush as a passionate golfer and a "class act", as many across the sports world mourned the death of the 41st USA president.

Bush's lifetime of service began in the Navy during World War II and ended with four years as president.

The casket carrying the body of George HW Bush is set to arrive in Washington on Monday afternoon, aboard the U.S. military plane commonly known as Air Force One. The Facebook page for the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum also shared the image.

Bush will lie in state in the Rotunda of the US Capitol from Monday evening Wednesday morning, under the watchful gaze of an around-the-clock honors guard. An invitation-only funeral service is set for Wednesday at Washington National Cathedral, to be attended by President Donald Trump and other dignitaries.

Mr Bush will be laid to rest at the George HW Bush Presidential Library Center in College Station, Texas and will be buried alongside his wife, Barbara who died in April, and daughter Robin, who died of leukemia in 1953.
