Ex-Arsenal forward Nicklas Bendtner has found himself in a spot of bother as he has been sentenced to 50 days in prison after assaulting a taxi driver.
A court in Copenhagen watched a video of the incident filmed from inside the cab.
"We think that it's not good for the club and not good for Nicklas, but he remains a player in the club. We are keeping him", said Tove Moe Dyrhaug, the chief executive of Bendtner's Norwegian club Rosenborg.
The argument started when Bendtner, who admitted he had been drinking, told the driver to "keep left" only for him to turn left.
Leicester to consider renaming stadium in honor of late owner
Claudio Ranieri revealed on Monday he had been "terribly shaken" by the death of Leicester City boss Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha. Many had left scarves and flowers outside the ground in the preceding days.
Having refused to pay the £5 fare, Bendtner and his partner exited the taxi and were pursued by the driver, where the footballer punched him before kicking him as he lay on the ground.
As tensions escalated, Bendtner claimed he felt threatened and left the taxi for his own safety.
The cab driver, whose jaw was broken, was acquitted of violence but fined £350 for using his telephone while driving and not wearing his seatbelt.
"Now the sentence has been issued, it is up to Age Hareide to assess whether Nicklas Bendtner should play for the national team", Moller said.

The Golden State Warriors point guard netted 35 points, but it was his laser-guided shooting from distance that broke a record. The 42-point margin was the fourth-largest halftime lead in history and the largest lead by a road team.
'I could not imagine it would develop as it did, and of course I'm extremely sad that the outcome became as unfortunate as it did.
'I have never been a fighter but I protect those I love on and off the pitch'.
Since leaving Arsenal, he has also played for Birmingham City, Sunderland, Juventus and Wolfsburg.
Bendtner has earned 81 caps for Denmark, scoring 30 goals.
