The Oregon man who taunted a bison in a viral video has been arrested - but it turns out this wasn't the first time he wreaked havoc at a national park.

The video showed the man, identified as 55-year-old Raymond Reinke of OR, moving toward the bison that was walking across the road before stopping on the side.

On Thursday, August 2, Yellowstone rangers connected Reinke's extensive history, and seeing the egregious nature of the wildlife violation, the Assistant U.S. Attorney requested his bond be revoked.

He was arrested by rangers at Grand Teton National Park for an alleged drunk and disorderly conduct incident on July 28. "He was cited as a passenger for failure to wear a seat belt".

The viral video of Reinke harassing a bison in the roadway is believed to have been captured after that traffic stop.

Yellowstone rangers received several wildlife harassment reports and issued Reinke a citation Wednesday evening before the video surfaced.

Reinke had been traveling to multiple national parks over the last week, according to a Yellowstone National Park news release. Again, officers reported Reinke seemed to be intoxicated and argumentative. He is scheduled for a court appearance Friday.

After his release, Reinke traveled to Yellowstone where he was cited for a traffic violation July 31. "Animals in Yellowstone are wild and unpredictable, no matter how calm they appear to be", noted the National Park Service, in an alert about a 59-year-old California woman being gored by a bison in Yellowstone in June. He was arrested and transported and booked into Yellowstone jail.

Following his parks stint he was arrested and faces charges for being under the influence of alcohol to degree that endangers himself or others and disturbing wildlife.

Responding rangers identified one of the guests as Reinke.

"We appreciate the collaboration of our fellow rangers in Glacier and Grand Teton national parks on this arrest", Yellowstone National Park Superintendent Dan Wenk said in a statement. Park regulations require people to stay at least 25 yards from animals like bison and elk, and 100 yards from bears and wolves. When rangers arrested Reinke, they realized there was a warrant for his arrest.
